This is a new feature in the Members Area of your site. You can access this feature by going to Online Courses, and from the top-right menu, click on the Gamification button.
Clicking on “Gamification” will open a pop-up that will contain a lot more options in the future, but at the moment, you have the Member Titles option available.
This option will allow you to create custom member titles that will appear next to your members’ names in the Forum and on the Social wall.
To add a new title, simply start by expanding the title Member Titles tab by clicking on the plus (+) sign on the right.
Once expanded, you can click on +Add Title to open the options, where you will need to insert a Title, assign the needed number of Points to reach that title and you can also set a custom color for that title.
Once you have added all your Titles, simply click on Save to store them.
To define the number of points needed for each rank, and what they represent, you need to expand the Points tab by clicking on the plus (+) sign on the right.
Users can be granted points for action in the Forum on the Social wall for the following:
– Creating a post
– Replying to a post
– Liking a post
– Receiving a like
– Landing on page
– Playing a video
– Playing an audio
– Completing a lesson
– Completing a quiz
– Completing all lessons from a course
– Completing all quizzes from a course
– Getting a certificate
The total amount of points received will count to a new title.
After setting up your titles, you will be able to view them in the member’s area. For example, for the following setup:

On each trophy, there is a progress bar that indicates the member’s progress. It must be full first in order for them to get the trophy.
Each time a trophy is earned, there would be achievements animation and sound.
Member Titles on Social Wall and Forum
The member title will also appear beside the names of the members on Social Wall and Forum. As you can see in the example below:
Manually edit the points of members as an Admin
As an admin of the site, you can edit the points of the members and this will change their rank or member title, depending on what points you have set up for each member title.
To do this:
- Go to Members Area and then select Manage Members
- Search for the member.
- Click on the edit button (pencil)
- Scroll down and look for Points.
- Edit the points and SAVE CHANGES.
Member titles will also appear in the Member Directory and will be displayed beside the member’s name on the directory list.
